About Us
AAR Component Services – Thailand (ACST) is AAR Group’s Asia-Pacific aftermarket services headquarters and a Single-Source Service Center for all commercial aviation across the region. With $300 million in projected annual revenues, we are proud to be the first facility based in Thailand to receive Design Organization Approval (DOA) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 21J.574, which allows us to design and validate nacelle components including thrust reversers, fan and inlet cowls. Our robust capabilities include nacelle components, radomes, flight control surfaces, piece-part repairs, CNC machining, autoclave and oven curing, NDT, sheet-metal and composite repairs, wheel and brake overhauls and full pneumatic, electric, hydraulic and fuel accessory component repairs and overhauls.
ACST has been a Boeing authorized warranty repair station for the CFM56-7 fan reverser since 2012, as well as the Trent 800 fan reversers since 2015. Beginning in July 2015, TASA has partnered with Airbus to provide regional and complex repair services for flight control surfaces and structural parts to airlines and MROs in the Asia-Pacific region. Our 2022 Diversification Strategy acts as the springboard for expansion in a wide range of new repair and service solutions to address industry modernization and new technologies, keeping us at the forefront of Asia-Pacific and China MRO providers.
The facility lies just a short drive from the new Bangkok International Airport, and it is located inside a specially designated Free Zone, which facilitates the shipment of products without need for any customs duty and only a minimum of paperwork. Our normal trans-shipment cycle from 'wheels down' at the airport to product 'on-the-dock' at ACST is less than one business day. In addition, ACST operates a corporate regional supply chain office to support the procurement of high precision aerospace components in Thailand and the rest of Asia for its international manufacturing operations.
