Description
AMCHAM’s Annual General Meeting will bring members together to advance a shared priority: strengthening Thailand’s future workforce through vocational education and skills development.
The program will feature the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between AMCHAM and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), establishing a framework for a closer collaboration between the private sector and vocational education institutions.
AMCHAM Platinum Members Witjarn (Tang) Kalayanamit of Citi Thailand; Jane Holloway of Ford Motor Company; Krisda Kirasamuttranon of Vantive Thailand; and Philip Bernard of WD will share practical examples of how companies are working with vocational schools and education partners in Thailand and the U.S.. With short presentations, members will highlight programs and partnerships that are helping students develop skills aligned with industry needs.
This meeting will also serve as the AMCHAM Annual General Meeting for the purpose of electing the 2027-2028 Board Governors. Online voting will close during the luncheon and the incoming Board Governors will be announced at the end of the luncheon.

About the Speakers:
Witjarn (Tang) Kalayanamit is is the Country Head of Business Execution at Citi Thailand, supporting the Citi Country Officer and Banking Head (CCOBH) in driving strategic initiatives across growth, governance, and engagement. Tang plays a central role in franchise execution and transformation, collaborating with key stakeholders across Thailand and the cluster. He completed his Master's degree in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego and his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.
Jane Holloway is Senior Manager, Ford Philanthropy, International Markets Group at Ford Motor Company, based in Bangkok. She leads philanthropic and community investment initiatives focused on education, workforce development, essential services, and community impact across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. Jane partners with nonprofits and educational institutions to build industry-aligned skills, expand career pathways for youth, and use the power of mobility to drive access to essential resources.
Krisda Kirasamuttranon is Country Head of Vantive Thailand, leading the company’s operations and strategic direction. He has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in business leadership, commercial strategy, business development, and regulatory affairs. Before joining Vantive, Krisda held senior leadership positions at AstraZeneca Thailand, GSK Thailand, and Novartis Thailand, and gained business development and regulatory experience at LG Chem, as well as earlier roles in marketing and pharmaceutical sales at Roche and MSD.
Philip Bernard is Senior Vice President of Global HDD Operations at WD, with over 30 years of experience in the hard drive industry. Based in Thailand, he leads WD’s main operations in Thailand and supports engineering and pilot factories across multiple countries. He holds several patents in storage engineering and is a strong advocate for Industry 4.0 technologies. Philip has been an active member and supporter of AMCHAM Malaysia, including working closely with AMCHAM Malaysia CEO Datuk Siobhan Das during the Covid-19 pandemic to support efforts that enabled critical electrical and electronics manufacturers to continue operating during lockdowns, helping address global supply chain shortages. He has also contributed to academia, serving on Monash University Malaysia’s Industrial Advisory Panel from 2012 to 2015 and as Industrial Advisor to the Physics Department at Xiamen University Malaysia since 2021.
