Foreign direct investment (FDI) is a significant component of Thailand's economic growth and development and Thailand is one of the major FDI destinations in the region. The Office of the Board of Investment (BOI) is responsible for promoting both FDI and overseas investment by Thai companies. Many AMCHAM members are BOI promoted companies. We look forward to hearing directly from the Secretary General how BOI is prepared to partner with businesses to overcome difficulties and challenges posed by the global pandemic and enhance foreign investment for Thailand’s resilience.
