Roundtable Meeting with the Director General of Pollution Control Department

AMCHAM is honored to meet with the Pollution Control Department on policy issues of mutual interest. The Pollution Control Department delegation will be led by the Director General Mr. Surin Worakijthamrong.
 
AMCHAM will be represented by Platinum members, Food, Beverage & Agribusiness, and ESG Co-Chairs.
 
Topics under discussion for this meeting will include:

• Policy Direction and Implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in Thailand 
• International and Operational EPR Best Practices
• Stakeholder Engagement and Policy Priorities

AMCHAM maintains ongoing dialogue with key Thai Government agencies to promote our common goals of fostering a robust business environment in the Kingdom and increasing Thailand’s competitiveness at a regional and global level. 
 
AMCHAM’s policy priorities are developed through our working group councils, open to all members for participation. All policy positions taken forward through AMCHAM channels must represent a significant group of members and receive final approval from the Board of Governors. In addition to our core Forward Five 2026 intiative to stimulate economic growth and attract investment, we have also engaged with the government with emerging legislation concerning digital platforms, sustainability initiatives, promotion of healthcare innovation, and more.
