AMCHAM is delighted to welcome Thosapone Dansuputra, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, to address the AMCHAM membership.

Over the past two years, there have been broad government efforts to enhance the ease of doing business and prepare for post-pandemic recovery. The Department of Business Development has played an especially important role in assisting all types of businesses to operate in the Kingdom and developing their capacity to perform efficiently, through the digitization of the business registration system, as well as different types of online services and capacity building programs.

Please join our Board Governors in welcoming Thosapone Dansuputra, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, who will provide an update on the Department’s work to improve and digitize the government framework to enhance business competitiveness and the growth of future generations of entrepreneurs.

Our Speaker:

Thosapone Dansuputra, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, has held numerous positions in the Ministry of Commerce, ranging from a Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization, the Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, to the Director-General of the Department of Business Development. Additionally, he had extensive experience in both bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations. Thosapone holds a Bachelor of Laws from Chulalongkorn University and Master of Laws from American University in Washington, DC.
