About the Speaker

Sanlaya Aksharamat is the Head of the LTR Visa Unit, Expatriate Services Division at the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). She holds an M.A. in Business Management from the University of East Anglia, an M.A. in Mass Communication, and a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Thammasat University. Ms. Sanlaya has extensive experience with the BOI, spanning investment promotion, international investment relations, and expatriate services. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of the BOI Frankfurt Office from 2019 to 2025 and held senior positions covering the European, Chinese, Korean, and Indian markets, as well as serving as Deputy Director of the BOI Shanghai Office.
