Don't be caught unaware - labor law has major implications for your organization. Not only can it be tricky, it is also constantly evolving.The National Legislative Assembly has recently passed important changes to Thailand's Labor Protection Act.
Join this AMCHAM panel discussion to learn more about what's new in Thai labor law and join the conversation as we tackle some of the more challenging employment situations organizations face in Thailand.
Panelists:
- Komson Suntheeraporn, DLA Piper. Komson is experienced in all aspects of commercial dispute resolution, employment and restructuring. He has extensive experience advising on a broad range of employment related issues, both contentious and non-contentious. He regularly represents clients in labor court proceedings, advising on work rules and regulations and providing day-to-day labor and employment advice.
- Ratthai Kamolwarin, Chandler MHM Limited. Ratthai has served a number of Thai and international clients in labor and employment matters for many years. He has given guest lectures in labor law at Thai universities, and has spoken on this topic previously at AMCHAM.
- Duangporn (Pam) Boosarawongse, DKSH Thailand (Ltd.). Pam joined DKSH this year and has previously worked in regional HR leadership roles with ONYX Hospitality Group, Stanley Black & Decker, Beiersdorf and British American Tobacco.
