Description
The energy sector is one of the most important growth enablers in Thailand and the region. Yet globally it remains a male-dominated sector. A growing body of evidence correlates the increased representation of women in corporate leadership roles with stronger business outcomes.
As the understanding and a dialogue on gender equality and social inclusion will be essential for developing a sustainable energy sector in Southeast Asia, the joint Committees would like to feature progressive policies, programs, and lessons learned from various perspectives. Our speakers include a CEO of a Thai renewable energy company, a country Managing Director of a multinational energy company, an experienced Oil & Gas engineer, and a gender advisor to the USAID Enhancing Equality in Energy for Southeast Asia (E4SEA) Activity.
