In particular, the automotive market has been stimulated by the Thai Government?s policy to promote the electric vehicles (EV) industry as Thailand's third 'product champion' for 2017 - 2036 (20-Year National Strategy). In order to attract investors, the government has launched a variety investment and promotion schemes.
