Description
AMCHAM is honored to welcome Onfa Vejjajiva, Secretary General of the Office of Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) to talk to members about ongoing initiatives that impact the business environment here in Thailand.
Since 2002, the OPDC has been tasked with the modernization of government services and departments, reporting directly to the Cabinet and overseeing a variety of key results-based management initiatives that span government processes and regulations, transparency, human resources, and technology. As such, the OPDC is a critical partner for our shared goals of promoting the ease of doing business in Thailand, and AMCHAM is delighted to offer our members this opportunity to engage directly with this key government body.
Secretary General Onfa will address the membership on OPDC’s policy priorities to promote ease of doing business, regulatory reform, the Regulatory Guillotine, and the progress of the Ten for Ten initiative, especially in the areas of e-services, e-commerce, e-government. Following her presentation, the floor will open for a question and answer session.
