Description
The Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) or AAIS, is a not-for-profit organization established in Singapore, with the vision of "An Innovative Aerospace Community for a Sustainable Future."
AAIS represents Singapore-based companies involved in aviation, aerospace, and unmanned aircraft systems, including maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), manufacturing, parts distribution, research & development, training and education, and aftermarket services. It serves as the voice of industry to influence future directions and policies, facilitates business, and engenders the development of the industry community.
Join our talk with Sia Kheng Yok about the AAIS's initiative with regional aerospace companies - the INTERNATIONAL AAIS NETWORK (IAN). The IAN is an initiative by the AAIS in response to a desire by overseas-based aerospace businesses to plug into the Singapore network, share their capabilities, and explore business opportunities with Singapore-based aerospace companies. IAN will also enable AAIS to support the growth of the aerospace hub in the Asia-Pacific region by extending its services overseas. This includes offering market insights, business matching, directory listings, and training services. Sia Kheng Yok will also talk about the Asia-Pacific Aviation Directory - the first of its kind in the region, "APAD" is a one-stop digital reference for comprehensive information on aviation suppliers and service providers in Asia-Pacific and beyond.
