This month’s opportunity for aerospace industry members to connect and freely exchange ideas and information. At the meeting, the council leaders will update on the current industry situation, followed by a presentation from Mr. Thomas Cochelin, Head of Procurement, Asia Pacific for Airbus on “Thailand’s Outlook for Aerospace Supply Chain 2022: Opportunities and Challenges” with a period for questions and discussion. General free flow exchange on the state of the Thai and regional aviation industry will follow. About the speaker
Mr. Thomas Cochelin is Head of Procurement Asia Pacific for Airbus, based in Singapore since August 2020, and established the Airbus Regional Procurement Office for Asia Pacific. Since 2010, based in the UK and then in France, he led several large Material and Parts Procurement Commodities for Airbus and its worldwide supply chain. Prior to these roles, Thomas held several positions in Cabin Program and A350 System Engineering development, since he joined Airbus in 2005 in Germany. He started his career in 2001 in the smart cards division of Schlumberger (now Thales Digital Identity and Security) in Spain. Thomas graduated from CentraleSupelec (Paris, France) and Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (Spain).
