About the speakers:
Alex Konnaris, Group CIO for RMA Group, is a highly skilled Information Technology specialist who has been residing in Thailand for over 17 years. Currently, he holds the position of Group CIO for RMA Group, a multinational company headquartered in Bangkok. The company specializes in Automotive (Retail/Wholesale/Modifications) to global markets, Infrastructure (Power & Heavy Equipment), Engineering Solutions, and Hospitality (restaurant franchising, delivery app and airport restaurants), with over 8,000 employees and offices in 14 countries. In his role, Alex effectively manages teams of IT professionals, providing support for IT Operations and Business Systems across diverse business streams.
Matthew E. Wright, Regional Attaché of Homeland Security Investigations Bangkok, is responsible for the oversight of HSI offices in Bangkok, Phnom Penh, and Ho Chi Minh City with operational responsibilities in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. Prior to his assignment in Bangkok, he supervised HSI Los Angeles Cyber Financial and Computer Forensics groups and served as a Special Agent in New Orleans. He holds a Master of Science in Cyber Systems and Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Police Colonel Jessada Burinsuchat, Superintendent of the Cyber Security Investigation Unit in the Royal Thai Police, is a key figure in Thai law enforcement, specializing in Cybercrime and INTERPOL. With international experience, he served in INTERPOL's Bangkok Bureau, participated in the UNPOL Peacekeeping Mission in Timor Leste, and collaborated with notable US law enforcement agencies. Jessada holds a Ph.D. from the Australian National University, LL.M. from the University of Kent, and M.A. from Chulalongkorn University.
Matt Garda, Country Director of Hill & Associates, is the head of the Hill and Associates Thailand office and supports clients throughout Southeast Asia in developing and enacting crisis management and resilience initiatives. Previously, Matt led the Control Risks? Crisis and Security Consulting team based in Sydney Australia and has helped clients prepare for and respond to various crisis events, including ransomware and cybersecurity issues. Matt?s team helps clients navigate risks and complexity in both preparedness and response.
