This SBE Committee event is the last of the four-part series focused on starting, scaling, going to market, and stabilizing a small business/startup. This event will feature a panel on sharing success stories of small businesses and will showcase the results of innovation, adaptation, and resilience.

Our panel of speakers will share their journey toward success and the many pitfalls they experienced along the way. We encourage everyone to attend, as this event will cover numerous topics including team building, networking, and successful investor relations.

We hope to encourage attendees to continue pushing the boundaries and creating their own success stories in the entrepreneurial landscape, as we aim to highlight the significance of entrepreneurship and the potential of start-ups and small businesses.

Our speakers:

Luca Dotti, Founder and Managing Director of HOMA, a network of co-living and multifamily projects in Thailand. He is also the Founder of NOON Capital, a vertically integrated property developer and manager specialized in residential and hospitality projects. Prior to HOMA and NOON, Luca was Investment Manager at Valeur, a multi-billion asset manager focused on structured credit. Luca has been living between Singapore and Thailand since 2009, he holds a MSc in Industrial Engineering, a MBA from INSEAD, and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Autcharawan (Gay) Pratumwan, Founder and Managing Director of Island Technology, Phuket?s largest independent IT solutions provider since 2001. In 2013 she founded AP&Co Lawyers, where she is also an Attorney at Law, providing legal services for businesses, families and real estate transactions. Recognizing the need for sustainable energy, in 2018 Khun Gay founded Smarter Energy Solution, now one of Phuket?s leading solar and sustainable energy providers for residential and commercial. In 2023 Khun Gay launched her latest project, Alinda Villas, a Modern Elegance Functionality villa development project in the popular expat area of Thalang, 10 minutes from Boat Avenue, with villas starting at THB 29 million for 725sqm plots.

Paul Crosio, Partner of Silk Legal. Paul is a highly experienced legal practitioner who specializes in restructuring, CAM (Conventional and Alternate Medicine), regulatory and general corporate law. Over the past 25 years, Paul has been based in a number of countries across the Asia-Pacific region and has worked with a variety of different multinational corporations including Global Crossing, MCI-WorldCom, Colgate-Palmolive, Abbott Laboratories, Citibank, Telstra International, and LG-Philips Electronics, as Corporate Counsel or Chief Financial Officer as well as being appointed as Board member and Executive Chairman for a number of listed corporations. Paul holds a Masters of Law as well as a Masters in Business Administration. He obtained his undergraduate degrees in Law and Economics from Sydney University where he graduated with honours. He also has a post graduate degree in Sharia Finance and completed his post tertiary degree in economics. He is an admitted and practicing lawyer and notary in Australia as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Governance, Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbiters and active in the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

Viona Zhang, Viona is the Founder and Managing Director of SAIJAI, a leading on-demand service platform in Thailand. She leads the team to discovering the potential of the flexible workforce and building a better future for underprivileged communities. With over a decade of global experience in the hospitality industry, Viona brings a wealth of expertise and a strong entrepreneurial mindset to her role. Prior to starting SAIJAI, she was the Assistant Vice President of C9 Hotelworks, a leading hospitality consulting company in Asia Pacific. She has also co-founded Inner Journey and served as a brand ambassador for Zurich Health, an international patient consultancy based in Switzerland. Viona graduated from the prestigious Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in 2017 and has been selected as a Global Talent by UNLEASH out of 19,000 candidates. As an advocate for Sustainable Development Goals, Viona is committed to using her skills and influence to make a positive impact on the world.
