In 2013, we opened our Bangkok office as Nishimura & Asahi (Thailand) Co., Ltd., later expanding in 2019 through an alliance with SCL Group, a top Thai law firm founded in 2005. This partnership created one of Thailand’s largest Japanese law firms and a major international business law practice in Southeast Asia. The SCL Nishimura Group merger was completed on April 5, 2021, forming SCL Nishimura & Asahi Limited. With over 70 legal professionals, the firm delivers high-quality advisory services and plans to enhance its support structure to strengthen its presence in Thailand and meet Southeast Asia’s diverse legal needs.
