Social Impact Projects in Thailand
1. Sanofi PlanetCare Upcycling Project: a sustainability initiative focused on environmental responsibility through:
• Used Insulin recycling program
• Promoting sustainable waste management practices
2. Kids & Diabetes in Schools (KiDS): a global initiative launched in partnership with the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD). In Thailand, the program is adapted and implemented through collaborations with local public and private partners.
The program aims to:
• Tackle diabetes-related stigmatization in schools
• Support children with Type 1 Diabetes to manage their condition at school
• Highlight preventable risk factors for Type 2 Diabetes
• Promote healthier lifestyles among children aged 6-14
These initiatives demonstrate Sanofi Thailand's commitment to both environmental impact and access to healthcare, aligning with the company's global mission to improve people's lives by integrating sustainability into the way we do business.
As we continue our journey in Thailand, Sanofi remains dedicated to addressing the evolving healthcare needs of the Thai population through innovative solutions and meaningful partnerships. By combining our global expertise with local insights, we strive to make a lasting difference in patients' lives while contributing to Thailand's healthcare ecosystem and sustainable development goals.
