Jelly Belly Candy Company is family-owned and operated by the fourth, fifth and sixth generations of the candy-making family. With candy-making roots going back to 1869, the company’s headquarters is in Fairfield, CA and produces its popular candies in three plants: Fairfield, CA, North Chicago, IL and Rayong, Thailand.
Jelly Belly is famous worldwide for more than 100 flavors of Jelly Belly® jelly beans. The company also produces Beanboozled® jelly beans, Sport Beans® jelly beans, pectin and gelatin vitamins, an organic line of confections and more than 70 other year-round and seasonal confections which are sold all over the world. All Jelly Belly jelly beans are certified OU kosher.
In 2006, Jelly Belly made the strategic decision to expand its production to meet the growing demand both at home and abroad and built a 50,000 square foot plant in the Rayong Province of Thailand. Today, that plant is 250,000 square feet and produces Jelly Belly jelly beans for the international markets, along with Sunkist® Fruit Gems®, and a new line of vegan gummy candies. The plant also makes panned and molded chocolate items including bars and truffles. The Thailand facility supplies customers in more than 60 countries outside the US.
