International School Eastern Seaboard (ISE)

The International School Eastern Seaboard (ISE) is an English language, coeducational, college-preparatory day school in Thailand, enrolling students from pre-kindergarten (2 years old) through to grade 12 (18 years old). The school provides a comprehensive academic program, including the core subject areas of English, maths, science, social studies, performing and fine arts, foreign languages, physical education, and an array of co-curricular activities. It also provides support for students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). ISE is an American style school with programs that are designed to accommodate students from many nations who may come with a variety of educational needs. We offer the IB Diploma Program as well as a High School Diploma. The school has full accreditation by the U.S. based Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Thai Ministry of Education (MOE). ISE is also authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)

The American philosophy of education serves as the foundation of the program at ISE. This fosters respect for the dignity and worth of each individual, supports education for all according to their abilities, and emphasizes a comprehensive curriculum based on the latest available brain research and education. By recognizing each student’s educational needs, ISE provides for individual opportunities to make course choices. Within this setting the school offers a well-coordinated program of studies leading to college and university admission. Our students move on to reputable universities around the world.

ISE was founded in 1994, making it one of the first international schools in the Eastern Seaboard. It was the first to offer IB and currently has the broadest language curriculum in the region. We are a small school, with numbers now growing and a longer term plan for about 400 students. We are seeking to appoint a new Head of School with the experience, energy, imagination and ambition to lead us on their exciting journey.
