Harley-Davidson Motor Company produces custom, cruiser and touring motorcycles and offers a complete line of Harley-Davidson® motorcycle parts, accessories, riding gear and apparel, and general merchandise.

The Company's products are sold to retail customers through a network of approximately 1,400 independent dealer retailers across the globe. Approximately one third of new Harley-Davidson® motorcycle retail sales occur outside the U.S.

In 2012, Harley-Davidson established a regional headquarters and regional distribution center in Singapore to better serve the Asia Pacific markets. In January 2016, the Harley-Davidson University Asia Pacific training facility located in Bangkok, Thailand, became fully operational to support its dealers in becoming and remaining industry leaders in motorcycling expertise and customer service.

In support of the long-term strategy to build the next generation of riders globally, Harley-Davidson intends to grow international business to 50 percent of annual volume by 2027. To meet that objective, the Motor Company is expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific market by building an assembly facility in Thailand for the local Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) market with production to beginning in late 2018.
