Colgate-Palmolive (Thailand) manufactures and markets toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash and dental floss, shower gels, talcum powders, hand liquid soaps, shampoos, and bar soaps...under the brands of COLGATE, PALMOLIVE, PROTEX, CARE.

In 1806, when 23-year-old soapmaker William Colgate began operating his own business in Manhattan, New York, little did he know that he was to sow the seed of what was to become one of the largest corporations in the world.

From its humble beginnings, the company has grown to employ more than 38,000 people, and its products are sold in 223 countries. The Company is tightly focused in four core categories: Oral Care, Pet Nutrition, Personal Care, and Home Care.

The company first entered the Thai market in 1958 and, in 1979, established its own distribution channels to enhance customer service. In 1995, it started a new National Distribution Center and manufacturing operations servicing about 53 countries. It is owned by the Colgate-Palmolive Company, with Headquarters in New York City.
