Description
Attracting investment in S-curve industries in the three EEC seaboard provinces is a core mission for Thailand, and a critical factor for achieving this goal is human resources. The Eastern Economic Corridor Human Development Center (EEC HDC) has initiated a demand driven approach with Model type A and B to engage the private sector in ensuring the ongoing development of people and skills. These models allow companies to design curricula in cooperation with educational institutions in accordance with the anticipated employment demand. Companies engaging in these initiatives can also claim corporate tax reduction under these schemes.
Join the AMCHAM Manufacturing Committee in welcoming Asst. Prof. Dr. Nayot Kurukitkoson from the EEC HDC to learn about the corporate tax reduction scheme as well as opportunities for future cooperation with EEC on human development.
About the Speaker:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nayot Kurukitkoson is Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University and appointed as a member of EEC HDC Working Committee. Prior to this executive role, he has had over 16 years of teaching experience in engineering. He graduated Ph.D. in Photonics from Aston University, United Kingdom.
