Description
AMCHAM Trade & Investment Committee is delighted to welcome Ms. Auramon Supthaweethum, Director General, Department of Trade Negotiations, once again to address the AMCHAM membership at our online Membership Meeting.
Following her presentation last year, where she provided comprehensive information about the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and its potential economic contributions, the coming meeting aims to present an update on the impact of the agreement and recommendations on how businesses in Thailand can adapt and maximize the benefits from the agreement. In addition, Director General Auramon will discuss the Department’s priorities for Thailand’s hosting of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit this year. The AMCHAM membership will have an opportunity to have a candid discussion with her on Thailand’s trade priorities, as well as how the private sector’s engagement can help Thailand achieve the proposed priorities and a successful APEC summit.
