AMCHAM invites you to join our Governors' Table, hosted by Nara Decharin of Baxter Healthcare, Tibor Pandi of Citibank, Rachel Davidson of Hilton & DoubleTree Sukhumvit Bangkok, and Deborah Seifert of Pfizer. 

Our Governors' Tables offer an opportunity to connect with leading executives and AMCHAM Board Governors over leisurely dinners in unique venues around Bangkok. The small group allows for individual introductions followed by relaxed, wide-ranging conversations with leaders from diverse industries and businesses.

This evening's venue is the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit, conveniently located in the heart of Sukhumvit.

About your hosts:

Nara Decharin, is General Manager of Baxter Healthcare. Nara began his career in academia in the UK and transitioned into Management Consulting and M&A focusing on healthcare transactions and eventually returned to Asia to join the pharmaceutical and medical device industries for the past 12 years, where he has had experience across multiple commercial, corporate affairs, and government affairs functions across more than ten markets. Nara is a Registered Chartered Director through the Institute of Directors, serves as a Board Member of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers’ Association, and is a member of the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council. As an active supporter of community activities, Nara sponsors type 1 diabetes children and children from disadvantaged background through two charities.

Tibor Pandi, as Country Head and Citi Country Officer for Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, Tibor oversees Citibank's operations in this region as well as playing an active role on the AMCHAM Board. Before his arrival in Thailand in 2017, Tibor led Citi operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Prior to joining Citi in 2001, he worked in a number of functions with ABN AMRO Bank in Hungary and Netherlands. Tibor has over 22 years experience in corporate and retail banking and holds a degree from the Budapest Corvinus University.

Rachel Davidson is a Cluster General Manager of Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok. Her career has encompassed General Manager’ roles at hotels and resorts throughout Thailand, Japan, China, and Australia. The last 12 years with Hilton, Rachel has held director positions in various organizations including President of American Chamber of Commerce in Okinawa (2016 - 2018), Vice President of Chatan Tourism, Chair of Tourism Whitsundays, President of Hotels Sales and Marketing Association in Victoria, and Director of YWCA in Melbourne. Rachel was the Japan, Korea, and Micronesia representative from 2015 - 2019 for Hilton’s Global Corporate Responsibility program, Travel with Purpose, and continues to focus on adding value and supporting social and environmental initiatives in the local community.

Deborah Seifert is currently a Country Manager of Pfizer Thailand and Indochina markets (Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos), where she oversees Pfizer Biopharmaceutical Group operations. Deborah leads Pfizer in its purpose of bringing breakthroughs that change patients' lives. Her focus is on driving access to innovative medicines by exercising both internal coordination and engaging external top-level representatives to lead the conversation and drive positive changes for public health in the country. Deborah is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of in-depth and diverse experience in marketing, commercial operations management, and leadership at the local, regional, and global level within Pfizer.
