Throughout the past year, the U.S. government has passed a series of laws to help stimulate a U.S. economy that has been heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The CARES Act passed in March 2020 was followed by the 2021 Reconciliation Act passed in December 2020 and now the American Rescue Plan just signed into the law by President Biden last week.
