Description
Calling all SMEs!
At AMCHAM Thailand, we are lucky to have a robust community of SMEs, many of whom are operating under the Treaty of Amity. A thriving SME sector is key to Thailand's economic growth, and an essential part of our AMCHAM member community. However, each SME is different, and one size most certainly does not fit all. To make sure that AMCHAM continues to provide services relevant to all of our SMEs, we would like your direct input.
Please join us for our SME Roundtable lunch in the AMCHAM boardroom where we would like to discuss the following topics, among others:
- Relevant event programming Our SME Committee does a superb job of events of planning events tailored for SMEs, but we always welcome new ideas and suggestions to keep our programming fresh for all of our committees.
- Advocacy initiatives Operating as an SME can sometimes feel like being the canary in a coal mine; SMEs are usually the first to feel the effects of regulatory changes. AMCHAM pays close attention to this, devoting a full page to improving the business environment for SMEs in our upcoming position paper. In what other ways can we ensure that your voice is represented in our advocacy efforts
- Networking opportunities We've introduced a new networking opportunity this year, the AMCHAM Insight Exchange, which was designed with SME's in mind, and we'd like your feedback on this and other ways to make sure you're connecting with the members you'd like to meet.
- Avenues for participation The more you put into participating in AMCHAM, the more benefit you get; nonetheless we recognize that time is tight for SME owners. How can we make it easier for you to get involved?
Our SME Committee Leaders, Greg Boudah and Dave Lawrence, will be present together with AMCHAM Executive Director Heidi Gallant and team to moderate the discussion. We look forward to seeing you there.
