AMCHAM together with NTCC, AustCham, BCCT, CanCham Thailand, GTCC and STCC, cordially invites you to Multi Chambers Briefing: Labour Protection Act on Friday 15th of November, 2019.
Thailand's newly-amended Labour Protection Act, has come into effect since 3 May 2019 with substantial implications on business operation. The briefing by Baker McKenzie's Employment specialist, Nam-Ake Lekfuangfu (Profile), will address some of the major changes under the new act, including:
- Statutory severance pay;
- Business leave;
- Maternity leave;
- Workplace relocation;
In addition, some tips and techniques on how to deal with the issue of termination will also be discussed.
Our Speaker:
Nam-Ake is Partner of the Labour and Employment practice group at Baker McKenzie in Bangkok. He is experienced not only in employment laws but also, corporate and commercial law, merger and acquisition, environment and trade regulations.
