What new challenges and risks will 2024 bring for supply chains and manufacturers? Join our Manufacturing Committee webinar to learn more.
Domestically, organizations will be navigating new government policies, including adjustments to the minimum wage. Still more risks originate offshore, driven by emerging conflicts and competition in Europe, Asia and now the Middle East, with supply chains between Europe and Asia threatened by hostilities impacting maritime trade.
2024 is both an opportunity and call to action for businesses to become more risk-aware, anticipatory and resilient to the emerging risks that are faced globally and within Southeast Asia.
Our speaker:
Matthew Garda, Country Director, Hill & Associates Thailand. Matt joined H&A in February 2022, after leaving Control Risks as the Associate Director of the Australian Crisis and Security Consulting practice. Matt has helped clients prepare for and respond to crises in the manufacturing and FMCG sectors and spent the last two years during COVID-19 helping businesses navigate immediate issues, while developing strategic roadmaps to enhance organizational resilience which are still in place today. Matt previously worked in the Finance and banking sector as a security specialist and has been working with clients throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia for the last six years as a security and crisis management consultant.
