AMCHAM Legal Committee welcomes Joshua Rosenstein, Esq., from the Washington DC law firm Sandler Reiff Lamb Rosenstein & Birkenstock to discuss why enforcement of this 80-year Act is being intensified in the current political environment, and how doing business in the U.S. for foreign clients could potentially lead to a criminal violation. 

Our Speaker:
Rosenstein's practices includes lobbyist regulations; FARA requirements; government ethics; and non-profit law, and designs in-depth compliance programs to guide entities and their clients through complicated lobbying-related regulations.  He previously served as in-house general counsel of one of the nation's largest lobbying, communications, and consulting firms.  He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at William & Mary Law School, teaching courses on lobbying regulation, and was recently awarded the William & Mary Election Law Educator of the Year Award.  Mr. Rosenstein graduated from Columbia University, summa cum laude, and from Yale Law School. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and of the bars of the District of Columbia and Virginia (inactive), and has appeared in numerous US media, including in the New York Times, Washington Post, and The National Journal and on National Public Radio.
