Description
Covid-19 has upended many business operations, requiring business leaders to re-examine existing contractual obligations. David Beckstead, Counsel at Chandler MHM, will present on issues of contract and performance-related issues in this rapidly evolving environment. The presentation will address key contract clauses which companies should consider when assessing legal risks in response to the covid-19 pandemic. The discussion will focus on the applicability of force majeure, timelines for performance, as well as risks associated with termination.

David Beckstead is a Counsel at Chandler MHM Limited (CMHM) and a member of the firm's Energy & Infrastructure Practice Group. He has vast experience representing lenders and project sponsors in the oil & gas, mining, renewable energy, and manufacturing sectors.
