Join us for a joint Education and HR Committee panel discussion addressing demand for educated workers in Thailand and the role educational institutions play in developing Thailand’s future workforce. The panelists will provide insights into hard skill- and soft skill-readiness in Thailand’s early career workers. The discussion will also address topics such as common skill gaps, innovations in education to meet future workforce needs, and the role of parents in encouraging and investing in future skills.
Our speakers:
Matthew Greenburg, Associate Director Talent Acquisition, Agoda. 12+ years in recruitment stemming from startups to enterprise. Majority of career in San Francisco, Bay Area tech recruitment and currently leading team of 50+ across tech, marketing and product recruitment alongside campus, analytics, sourcing, and operations teams at Agoda.
Supathra Kuratana, Senior Client Partner, JacksonGrant Executive. With over 20 years of rich experience in marketing, sales, managing director, and head of country roles in local, regional, and global markets, Supathra brings extensive business networks and dynamic global perspectives to every conversation. Her expertise is in FMCG and the consumer sector, including Unilever, Mars, Diversey, American Standard (Lixil), and Thai Union. She currently sits on the Board of Governors for Bangkok Prep.
Krishaan Phlaphongpanich, a recent graduate of Bangkok Patana School, is an entrepreneur and the founder of Super Satang, a financial literacy education platform dedicated to the youth. Super Satang’s financial education emphasizes the importance of understanding the psychological aspects and mindsets related to money for financial empowerment. Krishaan's commitment to this cause has led him to author "Follow the Coin: A Financial Literacy Adventure," a novel that aims to make financial literacy accessible and engaging for young readers. Through the novel, he introduces critical personal finance topics in a story that captivates and educates. Krishaan envisions a future where financial literacy is a fundamental part of education, ensuring that the youth are prepared to navigate the complexities of financial decision-making.
