Description
The aging society is a concern in several countries including Thailand. The government is investing in capacity building for prevention and early diagnosis. The key prevention for infectious disease is vaccination. Recognizing the importance of vaccination as a key health and development factor, the proportion of the target population covered by all vaccines reflects the ability of a country's access to vaccines and its ability to deliver them with high and equitable coverage. Nowadays, it is estimated that, each year worldwide, vaccines prevent up to 2-3 million deaths.
Many vaccinations have now been developed to protect all ages of people, called life course immunization. This event will show the journey of vaccine technologies and the health and economic value of vaccination.
