AMCHAM invites you to join us for our Governors' Table, hosted by Chatit Huayhongtong of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Lena Ng of Amata Corporation, and John Evans of Tractus Asia.
Our Governors' Tables offer an opportunity to connect to leading executives and AMCHAM Board Governors over leisurely dinners in unique venues around Bangkok. The small group size allows for individual introductions followed by relaxed, wide-ranging conversations with leaders from diverse industries and businesses.
The venue for this evening is Manhattan Studio at JW Marriott Bangkok offering a stylish fusion of classic design and New York taste.
About your hosts:
Chatit Huayhongtong is President of ChevronThailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., a position he assumed in May 2021. As president, he is responsible for upstream operations in Thailand. Chatit began his career with Chevron in 2002 and over a 20-year period has held numerous engineering and leadership positions of increasing responsibility around the world, including in the United Kingdom and United States. Prior to becoming President, Chatit served as General Manager for Operations from 2018; as General Manager for Asset Development from 2016; as Asset Manager of Pailin Asset from 2013; and as Deputy Asset Manager of Platong Asset from 2011. Chatit graduated from Chulalongkorn University with an MA in Business Administration in 2003 and a BA in Petroleum Engineering in 1994.
Lena Ng is Chief Business Officer of Amata Corporate. She has more than 27 years of experience in overseeing multiple assets class in Strategic Investments, Mergers & Acquisitions, Industrial & Smart Cities development and currently sits on Board in multiple companies. Lena was honored as a Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum (WEF) in March 2014. Lena has also served as the Chairperson (Audit) of the Singapore National Paralympic Council. She was a former Singapore Diplomat and won the Ministry Borderless Award in 2010. She has worked at British Telecoms and Standard Chartered Bank. Lena is an experienced speaker and judge in many international fora such as the WEF, World Bank Conference, Belt &Road Forum, Mobile World Congress, and Microsoft Imagine Club. Lena received BBA Honours degree and MBA from National University of Singapore. She completed Executive Leadership education from Harvard University, University of Oxford and Stanford University.
Charles Blocker is a founder and CEO of IC Partners, with more than two decades of experience in capital raising, corporate finance, and commercial real estate. He is also a senior member of the advisory boards at Young Happy and Singapore based AJT Holdings Pte. Ltd. which owns the Wellity and DrMap brands. Charles earned an MBA at the Kenan‐Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina‐Chapel Hill, with honors. He currently serves as a Trustee of the Kenan Foundation Asia and is a member of their Executive Committee. Charles served as a Governor and Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand from 2004 through 2007, and was elected back to the AMCHAM board in 2021. Charles resides in Bangkok with his wife and two children.
