Description
Import privileges under the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) have key implications for AMCHAM member importers and exporters. From August 1, revisions will come into effect under the ACFTA Upgrading Protocol.
In order to ensure that our members are well prepared, the Customs & Excise Council has invited representatives from the Customs Department to give a briefing in the AMCHAM office. Topics covered include the new Rules of Origin, related customs procedures, the new Form E, and the transitional period.
The session will be chaired by Ms. Suchaya Chinwongse, Expert on Rules of Origin, Customs Tariff Division and Ms. Sasikanya Ponien, Customs Technical Officer, Professional Level, Rules of Origin Section. The seminar will be conducted in English.
Due to space limitations, we have a maximum capacity of 30 people. Please register online to reserve your space. Meeting attendance is free, but in order to make sure that all interested members can attend, we will impose a no-show fee of 300 Baht for registrants who do not notify us of their cancellation at least 48 hours in advance.
If you have a particular question you wish to submit to our speakers regarding the ACFTA, please email kittie@amchamthailand.com by July 12.
