Description
Please join the AMCHAM Business Economics Committee for our popular annual presentation on 'Developments in the Thai Property Market' with guest speaker James Pitchon. In addition to presenting some of the latest data on commercial and residential property in Bangkok and surrounding property markets, James offers insightful commentary on economic and social developments propelling property trends.
Now an “independent property observer”, whose social media updates are followed avidly by industry professionals, James was previously managing director of CBRE for twenty-seven years, during which time he was responsible for servicing property requirements of multi-national corporations as well as the coordination of over 1,000 multinational corporation property transactions in Thailand. James originally joined CBRE in 1987 in Hong Kong, and established the company's Beijing office in the People's Republic of China, where he was responsible for leasing the China World Trade Centre, before joining the Bangkok office in 1990. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Valuation and Estate Management from Bristol Polytechnic, UK, 1985.
