SUMMARY:Roundtable Meeting with the Director General of the Customs Department
DESCRIPTION:AMCHAM is honored to meet with the Customs Department on policy issues of mutual interest. The Customs Department delegation will be led by the Director General of the Thai Customs Department\, Mr. Phantong Loykulnanta.\n\n\n\nAMCHAM will be represented by Platinum members\, Customs and Excise Council Board Liaison and co-chairs. \n\n \n\nTopics under discussion for this meeting will include:\n\n	Duty suspension for appeals\n	Amendment of entry\n	Revenue-related issues\n	Cancellation of the two-year period for keeping goods in the Customs Free Zone\n\nAMCHAM maintains ongoing dialogue with key Thai Government agencies to promote our common goals of fostering a robust business environment in the Kingdom and increasing Thailand's competitiveness at a regional and global level. \n\n\n\n AMCHAM's policy priorities are developed through our working group councils\, open to all members for participation. All policy positions taken forward through AMCHAM channels must represent a significant group of members and receive final approval from the Board of Governors.
