DESCRIPTION:You are invited to GTCC Multi Chambers Eastern Seaboard Seminar: "Customs Clearance Seminar - Updated ASEAN-China FTA privilege and Thai Customs Regulation 2019" with DACHSER (Thailand) Co.\,Ltd. and Dr. Warasit Muangkoom\, Chief of Customs Procedure from the Thailand Customs Department\n\n \n\nWith the implementation of the upgraded ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (FTA) went effective on August 1\, there are updated customs clearance procedures related to the tariff reductions. International logistics service provider DACHSER\, together with their guest speaker Dr. Warasit Muangkoom from Thailand Customs Department\, will provide information about the upgraded FTA\, such as interesting customs measures which provide trade facilitation to business community such as pre-arrival processing\, e-billing and e-payment. Recent development in ASEAN on transit issue will also be discussed during the seminar.\n\n\n\nAbout Speaker\n\nDr. Warasit Muangkoom\, Chief of Customs Procedures Sub-sector 1 at Customs Department\, Ministry of Finance\n\nDr. Warasit Muangkoom currently holds the position of the Chief of Customs Procedures Sub-sector 1 at the Customs Department\, Ministry of Finance. He has been working at the Customs Department since 2013. With over ten years working in the government\, Dr. Muangkoom is experienced with customs trade and regulations. Holding two Master's Degrees of Laws at foreign institutions and past practices as Legal Officer in the Thailand government\, he is well educated and familiar with legal affairs as well as international trade law.\n\n**This seminar will be conducted in English**\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Eastern Seaboard Networking in September will be organised by GTCC\, in collaboration with other bilateral chambers of commerce in Thailand.
