James has worked in media and copyright policy for over 15 years. Starting his career in copyright policy at the Australian Government Attorney General's Department in Canberra\, he has worked as a copyright lawyer and was secretary of the Copyright Society of Australia. Before joining the MPA\, James was Director of Government Relations for Screen Producers Australia.\n\nAthistha (Nop) Chitranukroh is a Partner and Director in Tilleke & Gibbins' Corporate and Commercial Group and leads the firm's Technology Practice. She advises clients across Southeast Asia on cybersecurity\, data privacy\, fintech\, insurtech\, payments\, market entry\, mergers and acquisitions\, and regulatory compliance\, with a focus on technology\, financial services\, and digital regulation. Before joining Tilleke & Gibbins\, she served as Thailand General Counsel and Asia-Pacific Regional Counsel for a NYSE-listed multinational finance and insurance corporation\, and as legal counsel for a SaaS and payment processing technology provider.
