DESCRIPTION:Please join us to discuss Electric Vehicles (EVs) and other cross-sectoral issues related to customs\, excise\, duty measures\, and the automotive industry.\n\n\n\nAMCHAM's Auto and Customs & Excise Councils together with the Legal Committee would like to invite interested members to this discussion on EVs\, particularly the definition of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) for Battery EVs (BEVs) and its duty tax rate.  \n\n \n\nWe will incorporate and align the EVs issues to propose our position or enquiries to the Department of Customs and relevant government agencies involved in the regulations and taxation for EVs. We will also take this opportunity to discuss other issues of shared interest among the three councils and committee.
