DESCRIPTION:Our Government Affairs Council will convene on August 29th to present the final draft of the AMCHAM White Paper. This five-page position paper\, prepared in consultation with AMCHAM committee chairs and the general membership\, will be presented by AMCHAM representatives during upcoming courtesy calls with new and returning Ministers and outlines an array of critical issues and "quick wins" that the new government and AMCHAM can collaborate on in the year ahead.\n\n \n\nOther topics to be discussed include:\n\n	AMCHAM advocacy activity in July/August 2019\n	AMCHAM Road Safety Campaign with the Ministry of Transport\n	Updates from the Foreign Chamber Alliance\n	Updates from the APCAC and the Washington D.C. Doorknock\n	Member feedback on calls for a 400-baht daily minimum wage\n	US-ASEAN Business Council   2019 Thailand Business Mission\n\nAll AMCHAM members are welcome to attend our Government Affairs Council meetings to stay abreast of the policy priorities that AMCHAM advocates for on behalf of our members. Advance registration is necessary\, as we do not accept walk-ins or non-member guests for these meetings.\n\nMembership in the AMCHAM Thailand Government Affairs Council is open to managers of government relations and public affairs of AMCHAM Thailand corporate members and other government affairs professionals in Thailand.\n\n\n\nTo continue to receive updates on our advocacy meetings and activities\, or to request to join the Council\, please contact kittie@amchamthailand.com.
