Dr. Supavud will share his outlook on Thailand's economy and highlight the government's priorities for structural transformation and long-term growth key perspectives for business leaders navigating what comes next.\n\n\n\nThis event will also serve as the Annual General Meeting for the purposes of approving the 2025 President's Report and 2025 Audited Financial Statements\, along with the appointment of the 2026 Auditor. These documents will be available to all members in the Member Information Center and will be included in the online ballots. Voting will conclude at 12:30 pm\, after which the results will be announced at the meeting.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker\n\nDr. Supavud Saicheua is the Chairman of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC). He is also an advisor to Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group following his retirement as Managing Director and Head of Research at Phatra Securities Plc.\n\nDr. Supavud joined Phatra Finance and Securities Plc (as it was then known) in 1994. It was during these 25 years at Phatra that Dr. Supavud and his team lived through many tumultuous economic events including being on ground zero during Thailand's financial crisis in 1997. Prior to his work at Phatra\, Supavud worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he was posted to Washington D.C. as the Thai Embassy's Economic Officer during 1986-90. Dr. Supavud earned his Ph.D. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1984.
