Consultation Meeting with the Department of Intellectual Property
AMCHAM is honored to participate in the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP)'s 2026 Consultation Meeting on Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement. AMCHAM will be represented at the meeting by leaders of the Healthcare Council. Topics under discussion may include: Intellectual property protection and enforcement Counterfeit products and market surveillance Trade secrets, patents, and other intellectual property issues affecting the healthcare industry AMCHAM maintains ongoing dialogue with key Thai Government agencies to promote our common goals of fostering a robust business environment in the Kingdom and increasing Thailand’s competitiveness at a regional and global level. AMCHAM’s policy priorities are developed through our working group councils, open to all members for participation. All policy positions taken forward through AMCHAM channels must represent a significant group of members and receive final approval from the Board of Governors. In addition to our core Forward Five 2026 intiative to stimulate economic growth and attract investment, we have also engaged with the government with emerging legislation concerning digital platforms, sustainability initiatives, promotion of healthcare innovation, and more.
